I've drawn the inspiration for this quilt from one of my favorite places in the world, dear Lake Ozonia. Tucked in a quiet corner of the Adirondack Mountains of New York state, Lake Ozonia has always been my favorite destination no matter what the season. The calming waters and beautiful scenery offer a break from the hectic daily grind and the wide variety of wildlife never ceases to amaze. The loon's eerie cackle, the splash of a jumping fish, and the cheerful chirp of a songbird provide the soundtrack for a well deserved retreat. So maybe this quilt reminds you of a certain place that you've enjoyed visiting or a place you'd like to escape to, this quilt will leave you longing for another Day at the Lake.
