Growing up on a farm, I was always entertained by the antics of our free range chickens. The clucking, the pecking, the jumping, they sure were a handful. In “Free Range” I’ve attempted to capture the chaos, as well as the beautiful colors of our feathered friends. Even though he was very bossy, I was fascinated by the rooster’s long, colorful tail. In this design, I’ve given him a nice high roost to show off his pride and joy.
