Rainbow Rows

Rainbow Rows
I just love rainbows and couldn't resist creating my own rainbow with this quilt. The colorful rows make me think of eight crayons lined up - with the paper wrapper peeled off of course. This quilt is relatively simple to construct so pick out eight fabrics plus black and you are ready to get started. Good project for intermediate quilters.

How to Miter Border Corners

Mitered corners always add a unique dimension to quilts, especially when the fabric is a directional print or border stripe. I always stayed away from mitered corners until my mom showed me how easy they could be. Over the years I have learned a few tricks of my own that make it even easier to miter quilt corners. I hope these instructions help you with the corners of your next quilt project. Click on the image for a printable version of the instructions.
